So I have a friend who inspires me and I want to be like him.

I have other friends and family who want to be like me.

You also have friends who have told you they want to be like you or get to where you are.

Do you not notice that no matter where you are, someone else desires that life?

We often take an assessment of the type of life we want for ourselves and when we discover that someone else seems to be living that life we want, we feel defeated and quit pushing.

Take consolation that your life is also desired by someone and stay challenged to keep living.

My conclusion: We are all inspirators in our own spheres. Remain inspired to inspire.
