My professional editor sent back my PhD thesis yesterday. She did a very thorough job and was patient to read every line of my over 100k-word thesis. Editors are very patient people. I am not sure I can be one.
She sent me an email this morning with the invoice for payment. However, what got me so excited was reading the 2nd paragraph of her email. Take a look at the attached picture.
My topic was indeed personal to me but a difficult one too. I am glad I got to this point. Letโs hope my examiners feel the same way in the coming weeks.
For now. I choose to celebrate this email.
I hope my parents are watching down and smiling and perhaps saying, โBoy you nailed itโ.
Now itโs time to polish this thesis and submit it.
