Dear Mum,

Today makes it 16 years since you went up there, and this is my fourth letter to you.

Last year, when I wrote to you, I had so much to tell you. I intended to skip writing to you this year, but it would be unfair because I know you will be looking at your emails and letterbox today. I cannot deprive you of a letter, no matter how short because it will be unfair when others have letters and you don’t.

Like I said, not much has happened because I am still in school and doing my best to make you proud. Perhaps when I write you next year, I might have some fun news regarding my studies, until then, stay tuned.

However, I have got some news for you. Ezinne passed a critical examination. Help me appear in her dream and tell her Congrats. I am sure you are proud of her. I can see you smiling and nodding. Yes. She is a slay queen indeed.

We miss you down here, but just as you always used to smile, we are smiling and living life productively daily.

Please find attached some nice pictures of a beautiful young lady growing fast. I am sure you should not have issues downloading them. I hear you guys have a strong WIFI signal up there.

It may be helpful to frame them and put them on your wall. I am sure her smile, which looks like yours, will brighten your day.
