The era of COVID-19 is an era of social distancing and working from home. While the scientist take their time to get the world a vaccine, we will keep doing our best to ensure that work gets done and learning continues.

It was on this premise that I was invited to deliver a guest lecture on “Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) & Tuberculosis (TB): Syndemics and the Principles for International Development”

It was humbling to share my experiential knowledge, drawing from what I have seen and done in the field.

I prepared the minds of the students on what to expect as public health practitioners in the field.

Special thanks to my supervisor Dr. Julie Anne King for introducing me to Dr. Jerico Franciscus Pardosi, who gave me the platform to share my knowledge on HIV and TB. It was a humbling experience.
